Tom Petersen has since passed away and his sons, Gregg and Fred have retired from daily business operations. Today the staff is made up of a team of 2 Funeral Directors, Gavan Petersen, third generation funeral director and embalmer and Charlie Robinson a licensed funeral director. The funeral home is also staffed by Cindy Simons who runs our office operations and helps families file insurance claims and other paperwork as needed.

Sliwicki, 89, died Saturday, December 3, 2022 under the care of Promedica Hospice at Copperleaf, Schofield. He was born February 20, 1933 in Bevent, son of the late Michael and Anna Sliwicki. On June 26, 1954 he married Irene Heisler at St. Anne Catholic Church, Wausau, and she preceded him in death on November 25, 2001.

Petersen was born on December 3, 1946, in Chicago, IL, to parents, Lund Christian and Bette Jayne, née Glessner, Petersen. She was the first of two children and is survived by her brother, Gregory L. Petersen, of State College, PA.
